Shipping Policy

1. General Information

  • Our store is based in France and ships worldwide.
  • Duties and taxes are included (Delivered Duty Paid) and covered by KATEEZ for items shipping in the EU, US, UK and UAE. 
  • All order will require a signature upon delivery. 
  • All shipping is fully insured to protect your merchandise. 
  • All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order using the original method of payment.

2. Order Processing

  • Orders of available items are typically processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • During peak periods (holidays or promotional events), processing may take up to 3–5 business days.
  • Made to order pieces will take 6-8 weeks to manufacture and ship. 
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

We offer several shipping methods to accommodate your needs. The exact cost and delivery estimates will be calculated at checkout, depending on your location and the shipping option selected. All order will require a signature upon delivery and cannot be shipped to PO box addresses.

  1. Domestic (Within France)
    • Standard Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 2–3 business days once shipped.
      • Shipping cost: Free for all orders.
    • Express Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 1–2 business days once shipped.
      • Shipping cost: Calculated at checkout.
  2. Within the European Union
    • Standard Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days once shipped.
      • Shipping cost: Free for all orders.
    • Express Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days once shipped.
      • Shipping cost: Calculated at checkout.
  3. United States
    • Standard US Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 7–10 business days once shipped, depending on location.
      • Shipping cost: Free for all orders.
    • Express US Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days once shipped, depending on location.
      • Shipping cost: Calculated at checkout.
  4. International (Outside the EU & US)
    • Standard International Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 7–10 business days once shipped, depending on location.
      • Shipping cost: Free for all orders.
    • Express International Shipping:
      • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days once shipped, depending on location.
      • Shipping cost: Calculated at checkout.

Note: Delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as customs delays, weather conditions, or carrier issues.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • Within the EU, UK and UAE: Duties and taxes are included (Delivered Duty Paid) and covered by KATEEZ. You will not be charged additional fees for import when receiving your order in these regions.
  • Within the US: Duties and taxes are included (Delivered Duty Paid) and covered by KATEEZ. You will not be charged additional fees for import when receiving your order in these regions. 
    As part of routine inspections carried out by US Customs, international orders valued above $2500 may be subject to further information requests including the shipping recipient’s IRS number via our nominated courier (DHL or UPS). If needed, our shipping partner will contact you via email to request completion of a 5106 form. This form registers the recipient as an importer and allows the shipment to be cleared on your behalf. Please complete this form as soon as possible to avoid delays.
  • Other International Destinations: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) when the package reaches your country. All customers outside the EU, US, UK and UAE are responsible for paying any customs, duties, or taxes imposed by their country’s customs department.
  • We recommend contacting your local customs office for information regarding potential fees before you place an order.

5. Order Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details (where available).
  • You can track the progress of your shipment using the tracking link provided or through the carrier’s website.

6. Failed Deliveries & Incorrect Address

  • We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or missing address information. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct at checkout.
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address, we may reship the package once the correct address is provided. Additional shipping fees may apply.

7. Shipping Restrictions

  • Some items may be restricted or prohibited in certain countries. Please check your local regulations before placing an order.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders if the shipping destination is restricted or if the carrier cannot deliver to that location.

Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 14 days have gone by since delivery, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return:
    • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it.
    • It must be in the original packaging, with all tags, labels, and/or accessories included.
    • If any tamper-proof tags are removed, broken, or otherwise tampered with, the return will not be accepted.
  • Custom or personalized pieces (e.g., items with specific customizations, engravings, or made-to-order products) will not be accepted for return.

2. Return Process

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer support at contact@kateez.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Await Authorization: We will review your request and provide return authorization if it meets our policy.
  3. Ship Items Back: After you receive authorization, send your item(s) back to the return address provided. Please use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We are not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Domestic (France): Depending on your reason for return, we may provide a prepaid return label or you may be responsible for return shipping costs.
  • International: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any other costs associated with the return (e.g., duties, taxes, etc.) unless the item is faulty or damaged.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).

4. Refund Processing

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt.
  • If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days from approval date.
  • If your return is rejected, we will notify you of the reasons and, if requested, ship the item back to you at your expense.

5. Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact customer support with evidence (photos/videos) of the damage.
  • For size or color exchanges (if applicable), you may need to place a new order and return the original item for a refund.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

  • In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at contact@kateez.com with photos or videos of the issue.
  • We will work to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, which may include sending a replacement, offering a store credit, or providing a full refund.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or credit card statement, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Then contact your credit card company or bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
